Giving students a voice In the James Hornsby family everyone has a a a a voice voice Student voice voice is especially important and plays a a a a a a big part in in reviewing our systems and processes because together we excel Whether it be be in lessons enrichment activities or or during tutor time learners are encouraged to to participate in debate and discussion We have Student Voice representatives in every tutor group and they are consistently able to gather feedback from the the students and share this with their tutors and College Leader Their mission is is to share their thoughts and ideas on how we can improve all aspects of our school All students’ input is valued within the James Hornsby Family and we understand that our students are our our greatest resource The Student “Voice team team have already made strides towards raising their profile through Student Voice Surveys and Head Teacher Questions which they lead in their form groups Every term the Head Teacher responds to the student questions and these results are presented again by Student Voice leads in form time Student Voice leads are also present on our Student Leadership team PAGE 7 | www jameshornsby essex sch uk
