Home Learning
At James Hornsby we are committed to ensuring that every student reaches their full potential. One of the key ways we support this is through structured and purposeful home learning. Research consistently shows that regular, well-designed homework can significantly enhance student progress. According to the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF), secondary students can make up to five months per year’ additional progress through effective homework practices. Home learning reinforces classroom teaching, builds independent study habits, and deepens understanding.
