Adisa

Last month, we had the privilege of welcoming the incredible poet Adisa to #JamesHornsby and what an amazing day it was!

Our #Year7 students were captivated by his talk, with many telling us afterwards how inspired they felt—some even said they now want to become poets themselves! Around 30 students were so excited, they stayed into their break time to get autographs.

During the workshops, students got hands-on, writing their own poems while enjoying Adisa's humour and creativity. The energy and enthusiasm in the room was contagious!

It was truly a proud day to be part of the James Hornsby community. Thank you, Asida, for inspiring the next generation of poets! 📝👏
